STOA's verdictRating 7.6 out of 10
Draw.io is a great pick if you need to create flowcharts, org charts, or process maps without paying for software.
It's completely free and your files stay on your own Google Drive or computer — not on some company's server. The only real downside is that it lacks the polished templates and real-time collaboration features you'd get from paid tools like Lucidchart.

The draw.io editor is free to use and deploy yourself, and the vendor says it has no Enterprise tier for SSO, so a small team pays nothing to use it.
